Can I speak to someone in BSL?

Yes. We are Deaf-led and can provide support in British Sign Language (BSL). If you prefer to communicate in BSL, just mention this when contacting us, we’re happy to arrange a BSL callback or video message.

What are your opening hours?

We operate Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm, but journey requests via text/SMS are accepted 24/7. If it’s urgent or related to an upcoming booking, please message us directly and we’ll respond as soon as possible.

How do I book a journey?

If you're already registered:

  1. Text or WhatsApp us your journey details (date, time, from/to)

  2. We’ll reply with a confirmation and assigned provider

  3. Reply ‘Confirm’ or ‘Cancel’

If you’re new, register here before sending bookings.

Who can use ERS Taxi Service Ltd?

ERS Taxi Service Ltd is available to:

  • Deaf, disabled, or hard-of-hearing individuals

  • Clients with an active Access to Work travel award

  • Anyone who cannot use public transport for health or access reasons

Can I use your service without Access to Work funding?

Yes, you may still book travel as a private client, and we will quote based on your location and provider. Please mention this in your message and we’ll guide you through the process.

Will I receive receipts for Access to Work?

Yes. All journeys are logged, and monthly DWP-compliant receipts are issued for Access to Work reimbursement. We’ll email these to you or your support worker.
